
Tasty Solo Over E Minor Groove
This week we have a very harmonically simple, yet funky backing track in E Minor. The good thing about these kind of backing tracks is that you can really experiment with weird scales and it will usually sound fine because there won’t be much clashing with the backing track. An example is the lick in the first bar; really trippy, but sounds great!
For this solo, I used the E Minor Pentatonic, E Dorian Mode, and E Blues Scale.
